Ernie the Giant Chicken is Peter Griffin's arch-nemesis and a secondary antagonist in Fox's Family Guy. Their feud began when Ernie gave Peter an expired coupon. Whenever Peter encounters Ernie, he immediately stops everything and engages in a lengthy fight that destroys the town of Quahog and causes casualties.
