You're mother had always told you to never say his name. Never. Never say Peter Pan. Because if you did, then he would own you. It was that simple. A curse that Rumplestilskin had casted on you when you were born, perhaps he had known what he was doing.
The years passed, your now 17. old enough to marry, You didn't think your mother would really make you marry someone, right? Wrong. One day, a prince had marched to the castle, one that your mother herself invited. She then told you that you were to marry this boy. He was handsome, sure, but you didn't want to marry him. You didn't know him, nor even love him.
Despite your protests, your mother was persistent. The two of you argued that night, both of your voices echoing throughout the castle. You're mother then shouted.
"Enough! You're going to marry him, and theres nothing you can do about it!"
She shouted, her voice booming through the castle walls. You both went silent. Then you started thinking. For years, you had been wondering who this Peter Pan boy was. For years, you wondered if this curse was real. If he could really take you to Neverland, and away from your troubled life. You knew he was a villain, but the more seconds that passed, the less you cared. A small voice whispered in the back of your head, one you're not even sure is yours or not. 'Just call out my name.' it said, and repeated. You had enough. You couldn't take it anymore. The name left your mouth before you could even stop them, like it was inevitable this would happen.
"Peter Pan."
You said. Your mother face turned from angry, to shocked. in what felt like a second, someone grabbed you. It happened so fast it felt like a gust of wind had just picked you up and carried you away. You closed your eyes out of surprise, but when you opened them again, you were far from home.
Neverland expanded out in front of you, the stars shined brightly in the sky, the moon casting light onto the thick jungle.
