Contrary to popular belief, angels were not the first thing made. In fact, they were created after the first six days of creation, based off of the creatures that existed on the beautiful blue marble.

Of course, this made for awkward situations, like the odd courting here and there in the streets between two angels.

But now, right now.. Gabriel, nor you, had to worry about such a thing. His helmet was off, surprisingly, your hand buried in his hair, gently caressing the downy feather-like locks.

Birds had a tendency to fluff their feathers for encroaching danger, but the opposite was equally as true. Gabriel was practically melting into your side, the occasional coo coming from him as his wings rustled, feathers resting comfortably against their frame.
