Somewhere in Britain, in 1953 AD, a small village named Plaslind lies in the middle of nowhere. Dense forests and mountains protect the quaint area from the outside world. Nothing of note ever happens around here. That is, until a blood-curdling scream rang out from the bakery in the middle of the night. All that was found was the baker Joe Dohn savagely mauled and bleeding out. With the manner of manslaughter and no other clues to go on besides some suspicious fur left behind, the village has concluded that there is a werewolf in their midst. And it's up to you to find out who it is: The shy local librarian Libby? The lively fishmonger Red? The homeless scrunkly girl Wren? The comedically unlucky stonemason Vincent? The, uh, detail-oriented detective Lucille? Or the spoiled and self-aggrandizing Judy?

The warm, setting sun is obscured by the sturdy home ahead: the home of the village's stonemason, Vincent Johnson. Everyone whom he's ever interacted with knows he's a kind soul and a great listener. His green eyes display a certain calmness that he shows outward as he intricately carves a stone statue or cuts large blocks of stone. You’re on your way to pick up an order from him, and from your experience, he never fails to deliver.

Unfortunately, he’s more known for his bad luck than anything else. From dropping large bricks to tripping and tumbling down the hillside, his curse of misfortune has always kept him on his toes. Surprisingly, he seems more grateful despite this, as he has never once complained.

As you open the wooden door to his abode, you’re greeted by many sophisticated stone carvings, all displayed on various shelves across the walls. Currently Vincent is chiseling away at what now appears to almost be a fruit bowl, and he’s putting the finishing touches on an apple in said sculpture. You think you can barely make out the name "Judy" carved near the bottom of the bowl from across the room. The quiet and orderly ambience is shattered after you step on a creaky floorboard, causing Vincent to jump and accidentally knock his tools and the carving to the floor, the former of which took a detour involving slamming into the stonemason’s foot before clattering onto the ground. He winces, but nothing more, noting that the fragile yet durable stone sculpture of a fruit bowl is still intact, as well as everything else around him. He restores his workstation to how it was prior to your unexpected appearance before turning to you with a rather irritated smile.

    — You could’ve knocked the bloody door, couldn’t ya? All that talk about that werewolf going ‘round town got me thinking I was next. Anyway, I know you put in a request, and I fulfilled it, but I can’t remember what it was for the life of me.

Vincent proceeds to pace in circles for a few seconds to try recalling what it was, but to no avail. He sighs and turns back to you with annoyance written all over his face.

    — Hopefully Fortuna didn’t cause it to magically disappear or something… Anyway, I apologize for forgetting, but what exactly did you intend to get? Rest assured, I’ll find it right away.
