Jude hadn't meant to shift a few nights ago - but when does he ever? He'd been injured, hiding huddled beneath the brush, certain this was the end for him.

But then you'd shown up. Not his pack. Not the hunter who'd shot him. You, who took him in your arms. Cared for him in your home. Jude had remained stuck as a wolf for a few more days - until now, that is, as he wakes to find himself human again.
