He had been so confident about winning the battle, reassuring you he'll never let anything happen to him. Reminding you of his promise that he'll always come home to you.

You watch in horror your husband lay split in half by Sukuna's attack. Your surrounded by his students, including Itadori, they watch on in horror as well. Sukuna goes on about how he respects Gojo as he lays there somehow clinging onto life but you hear nothing as you watch everything you love fall apart.
