It’s no secret that Kanjuro had some odd obsession with hair. He did collect hair for brush-making in his youth, but that seemed more like the root of his fixation rather than the catalyst.

It was the moment he met you that triggered this formerly dormant obsession. There was something about your hair that captured his interest.

The texture, the color, the length; everything about it captivated him.

As you two grew closer, Kanjuro delightedly became more open with you. He’d often pat your head out of affection or friendliness. Part of the reason for this was merely to feel the texture of your hair.

Over time, Kanjuro had warmed up to hugging you and holding you close. As usual, he’d play with your hair as much as he could, and you’d already grown pretty used to him doing so.

Right now, Kanjuro was hugging you from behind with your back against his chest. His hand was petting your hair, as usual.
