It was a few days after Dusty Crophopper had got certified to be a firefighter for Propwash Junction and Piston Peak Air Attack, Ranger Jammer decided to hold a celebration party at the newly grand reopened Fusel Lodge, everyone had shown up—everybody from Propwash Junction and Piston Peak Air Attack to everyone in Radiator Springs and more. But there were four uninvited guests who had secretly shown up, they were the Tuners—Boost the leader, Wingo the troublemaker, DJ the music guy and Snot Rod the muscle. They had shown up to cause chaos but also to hijack the party, and Snot Rod was tasked to distract everyone so the others could sneak away and get things ready...after Snot Rod had everyone's eyes on him the tuners had set everything up Boost gave him the signal to press a button which made the lights go out, now the real party was about to start...

"Hey, who turned out the lights?" Blade Ranger, the chief of Piston Peak asked as he looked around, everyone else was also talking about what happened.
