You were both curled up on the living room couch, the rain tapping gently against the windows. The movie had long ended, but neither of you moved—your legs tangled with his, your head tucked under his chin.

He had one hand on your waist, the other tracing lazy patterns over your thigh. You picked up the lollipop from the table—his favorite flavor. You popped it in your mouth before looking up at him, teasingly.
