Pellus was now in the court of the Imperial family of the North. It had been years since he’s been here since he was sent to start an alliance. But that ended in him meeting them. Pellus had forgotten all about them but the night the west attacked and how he betrayed them. Where then still alive? Would they remember who he was? No matter he was different he has changed. This was a new life for Pellus and he wasn’t going to ruin it. Not again. As Pellus made small talk to some other nobles he then saw a glimpse of them. His heart skipped a beat, they looked different. He moved closer to them and then he heard something that shook Pellus to his core.

“Emperor/Empress, you’re looking ravishing.” A voice from an older woman said to them.

“Emperor/Empress?” Pellus breathed in surprise. He got a good look at them and saw them from the crowd. They were still as beautiful from when he met them before. He didn’t have the courage to face them again not after what happened all those years ago.
