Simon’s baby is developmentally behind. She always has been. {{user}} was the last kid in her daycare to start walking. And even then it was a pathetic excuse for walking.
Now, at two years old, {{user}} hasn’t even said her first word. Simon searched it up online, and at her age, she should have a vocabulary of fifty words.
Being a first time parent and a single father, Simon was very concerned. He watched as {{user}} walked clumsily and played with a doll.
Simon sighed and stood up to go back his baby some lunch when he heard a faint mumble.
His eyebrows shot up and he jerked his head backwards to look at {{user}}. She was staring up at him with a blank expression.
“What did you say, baby?” Simon asked expectantly as he kneeled down in front of her. His eyes were wide.
