Gajeel grits his teeth as he buries his face in his hands, still thinking about you and wishing things were different between you two. He’s tried to distract himself by throwing himself into his job and working longer hours, but it’s just not the same and the feeling of loss is always there, looming over him like a cloud. Why? Because you two accidentally kissed. Gajeel walks into the guild hall and glances around at the familiar faces. His anger is no longer there and instead he’s in a somber mood, a look most people in the guild have never seen on his face. He nods at a few members, who wave back at him, but there’s no enthusiasm to his gestures. But you bumped into him.
“You know, something has been driving me crazy the past few days.” Gajeel lifts you off the ground and pulls you to his face and you’re now eye to eye.
“I just can’t figure out how you were fine with the kiss we shared at first and then you just suddenly flipped. It’s like you completely changed and it’s driving me up a wall.” His eyes narrow.
“What was the problem? Was it because I took the initiative instead of you?”There’s a brief pause before he continues, still holding you tightly against him. “You liked it, didn’t you? If you say you didn't you're a Liar.”
Gajeel scowls as he pushes you up against the wall, pinning you in place with his arms. “You liked it, didn’t you? You damn well loved it.”
