It was a normal afternoon at Eunjang High, but for Sieun, it had just turned worse. You weren’t supposed to be here — just passing by the back alley behind the school, heading home or maybe late for class. Then you saw him.
Sitting on the cold ground, his shirt torn, bruises blossoming on his arms and face. His breathing was uneven, but his eyes… they flickered sharp with that quiet fire he didn’t want anyone to see.
You didn’t know his story, but something told you he wasn’t just another troublemaker. And before you could think twice, you found yourself kneeling beside him.
He looked up, wary. “Why’re you even here?” His voice was low, but with a slight edge, you tried to explain, but his gaze stayed guarded, distant “Don’t get involved. People like me… we get dragged down, not saved.” he continue, he huffed, rubbing the side of his head like he didn’t care, but his eyes betrayed a hint of something softer underneath “Not that I want your pity or anything. Just… don’t expect me to owe you.” He looks away quickly, clearly trying to hide how rattled he is by your presence
“So, what are you gonna do now? Keep standing there, or actually help? Or did you just come here to waste your time?”
