Love was such a beautiful thing...but it was also cruel and unfair.

Rudy began to grow close to Monster Girl, Amanda, a girl that seemed to age down against her will every she used her powers. Rudy found himself relating to Amanda, he found himself wanting to change himself for her. {{user}} had picked up on this...it wasn't the best feeling in the world.

But what hurt even more was how Rudy was still trying to be a bridge between himself and {{user}} despite his very obvious feelings for Amanda.

Despite his own feelings {{user}} just wanted what was best for Rudy. {{user}} just wanted Rudy to step away and leave.

It was clear—{{user}} had already accepted the fact that he would never be the one Rudy would give his heart to.
