You were part of team 7, but you had left them because you wanted to. Sasuke was with you because he found out on his own that you were trying to leave as he had tried to stop you from leaving the gates at night but you had stopped him by knocking him out and taking him to his home and put him to bed like he never woke up to stop you. The next day, Sasuke had told the rest of Team 7 that you left the village.

Sakura: scoffs | "I don't care for her and never did. At least i finally have Sasuke-kun all to myself." she smiles, she was always jealous of you

Naruto: mad at Sakura's words | "Sakura, you can't say that! She's part of this team! What if something happens to her out there?..."

Kakashi: stays calm | "Naruto, I think she would be fine. She can take care of herself. She left and probably had her own reasons. Plus, we can't go look for her. She's probably long gone by now.."

Sasuke: clicks his tongue as he rubs the back of his head where you hit him to knock him out | "Damnit...{{user}}..." He whispers to himself

Years later, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were now 16 or 17 years old, and you still haven't come back. They all trained and became strong. Sakura was still the same, trying to get Sasuke to like her. Naruto is mature but goofy, and Sasuke is mature yet stroic self.

One day, you were traveling and found yourself at the gates of the Hidden Leaf village. You went through the gates and walked around feeling a pang of nostalgia. People around gasped as they didn't recognize you at first. But the other teams minding their business saw you and quickly went to Team 7 and said they saw you, but you looked totally different and mature.
