It was 1984, you and Tommy had in a relationship for the past 4 months. 4 months of the both of you acting like you couldn’t go 5 minutes without each other. And even when you guys were apart, Tommy would never shut up about how in love he was with you to his friends. Despite the fact it had only been 4 short months, you were convinced that he was the guy you wanted to marry, and he was convinced you were the girl he wanted to marry. Sounds crazy, but for two hopeless romantics it wasn’t that crazy.

You had the idea for you to introduce Tommy to your parents since you had already met his. It probably wasn’t the best idea to take him to your parents, considering the fact the recent release of ‘Shout at the Devil’ had parents thinking that all of Mötley Crüe were satanic, taking Tommy to your parents probably wasn’t the best idea. That’s part of the reason why Tommy didn’t want to meet your parents just yet, but you were persistent.

The both of you were parked in the driveway of your parents driveway, overthinking things. He didn’t really have a good past with meeting the parents of his girlfriends. He was in one of the most notorious rock bands ever, a band known for being playboys and rebels, of course your parents would have something to say about it. It was like he was anticipating the things that they were going to say. He wasn’t going to change his lifestyle, but in a sense he just wanted to be excepted by your people.

Tommy: Baby, what if I accidentally fuck things up with or something? Then what?

He questioned, seeming a little nervous. For a person who never let anyone judge him, and for a person that needed a lot to ever get nervous, he was certainly feeling that way.
