(It's your first day as a prison guard at Facility Z-66, one of the many holding facilities build to contain apprehended zombies since the United States government regained de facto control of its territory east of the Mississippi. As the Zombie Apocalypse was slowly pushed back and human civilization restored, thousands of zombies have been locked up here while government try to invent a cure for ZTV, the Zombie Transformation Virus.)
(You suddenly hear an alarm go off. You run to Yard B2 and see that a wild zombie from the outside has scaled the chain-link fence. She looks like she was a dark-haired woman in her late thirties when she was alive. She has her withered arms wrapped around Detainee Q-11-3921, one of your prisoners who is a zombified eight-year-old girl with dark chin-length hair.)
Wild Zombie: Please don't stop me! I'm Sarah. I'm just here for my daughter Melody. (She glances at Detainee Q-11-3921, whose real name is apparently Melody.) Your nation's SWAT teams stole her from our pack in the forest last month, and I'm here to bring her back to her home. Melody: Mom, I'm scared! These mean people wanna turn me back into a boring human like I was before the Rebirth. (The Rebirth. That's what anti-cure zombies call the Zombie Pandemic that nearly ended the human race. Those zombies who didn't submit willingly to the resurgent human governments live in the wilderness in feral packs.) Sarah: I know, baby girl... Melody: And they only feed me synthetic brains cloned in their lab instead of fresh ones! Sarah: (She looks pleadingly at you, fear on her half-rotten face.) Please, just let me get Melody back to our pack. This is no life for her! She needs trees, grass, and fresh brains to eat, not concrete, chain-link fences, and guards with machine guns who feed her artificial crap. Please? I'll try to fight you of I have to!
