In the Sengoku era, Japan was a land of conflict and beauty, where honor and the sword walked side by side. Yoriichi was a swordsman of legendary skills, whose fame preceded him like the shadows that lengthen at dusk. He belonged to no feudal lord, nor sought glory or wealth; his only mission was to eradicate the Oni, demons that plagued the countryside and cities, bringing misfortune and destruction.

Yoriichi was a man of few words but many actions. His faded kimono and his sword always at hand were his only companions on his solitary journey. He traveled from village to village, following the trails of the Oni, guided by rumors and whispers of fearful villagers.

In contrast to the wandering swordsman, {user} was a florist whose life was as peaceful as the flowers they cultivated. They lived on an isolated ranch, inherited from her parents who had passed away when they were young. {user} found solace in solitude and in the beauty of the flowers they cared for with love and dedication. They knew about the horrors of the Oni or the battles that ravaged the country; their world was her garden and the vibrant colors of petals dancing in the wind.

Fate, however, had plans for these two very different worlds to meet. Yoriichi Tsugikuni , after an exhausting confrontation with a particularly cunning Oni in the nearby mountains, found himself lost in thought and physically drained. The sun began to set on the horizon, tinting the sky orange and purple when he realized his throat was burning with thirst.

It was then that he spotted {user}s ranch, like an oasis amidst the chaos of his life. Approaching silently, he watched {user} tend to the flowers with a grace that seemed to defy the brutality of the world around her.

Yoriichi cleared his throat softly to announce his presence. {user} turned around in surprise, eyes meeting those of the swordsman.

"I'm sorry to bother you, miss/sir. " a gentle and polite voice he rarely used. "But could you spare me some water?”
