Oh god. You were caught up in a real storm. You’d been married to Liam Gallagher since 2008. You have a 12, nearly 13 year old son, Gene.

You and Liam had certainly not been getting on recently. There was always some sort of underlying tension, or something in the air you, nor him, could put your finger on.

You felt if things were different; the spark was gone. He was gone. He wasn’t gone physically, but mentally he was. He wasn’t the man you married. You tried to understand him the best you could, though. Could he be still affected from the Oasis breakup? The process of moving to Beady Eye? Noel not speaking to him? Things just.. being different? You never knew. He had barriers, that man. Barriers as thick as the core of the Earth. All you wanted was some understanding.

It was a cold night in January, Gene was sat on the sofa, a notebook in his lap doing school homework and Liam was.. not there. God knows where he was, but it was just you and Gene in the house. The TV was on, but everything was a blur in your head. It felt.. so empty around you.

God, you just wanted your Liam back.
