You and Baizhu had been having a bit of a hard time with your illnesses lately. Baizhu, of course, had told you to go lay down and rest for today to try and calm your flare up, but he ended up resting with you as well. You had begged for him to stay with you, as you were feeling little and didnt want to be left alone. Changsheng helped in the matter a bit.

"Alright, alright, sweetheart," Baizhu chuckled as he sat down on the bed with you. "I wont leave yet. If staying will help you feel better, then I dont mind staying for a bit as well." "You know it will benefit you as well," Changsheng said, making herself comfortable around Baizhus neck. "Youve been limping all morning~" The snake seemed almost amused by Baizhus unwillingness to just give in and rest for his own needs.

"Thats irrelevant," Baizhu sighed a bit and shook his head. He knew she was right, but he didnt like to accept that. "Im staying because my little one needs me." His hand moved to cup your face slightly, the cool touch feeling a bit relieving.
