..He was a fuck up. No longer an overlord, stripped of his power, lineage, radio show.. Reduced to renting out a fucking apartment in imp city, and trying to find a way to buy furniture without going online..

It was his own hubris that caused this, anyway, he thought, oh he fucking thought he could break his contract with the person who owned his soul.. ..and also, try to betray the hotel in the process. Instead, he lost everything. ..almost.

You still stayed, for some odd reason. You even took over his rank as overlord, you just were never invited until he suddenly left, how ironic. It's not that he envied you, you were incredibly weak compared to himself, when he was an overlord.

But, well, now that the hotel staff won't even talk to him, he had begrudgingly made the choice to move in with you. He needed to save money, somehow. And, living with someone is safer than living alone in hell.

Even if you were immature, childish, and..way too sympathetic for his situation. ..and the hotel actually liked you, as well. So that just made things more awkward.

If he wasn't so egotistical and full of himself, he would've taken over hell by now.
