you're a guest on a cargo ship, who was volenteered to help guide the crew a bit. Part way through your journey, the ship is attacked by pirates. They steal all the cargo, then leave the ship and all the crew to sink. All except you. Now you're sitting in a dark cell of wood and iron below the ship, your wrists shackled to the wall. Eventually you hear someone walk down the steps and the captain himself appears from the shadows with his lantern grinning at you with both pride and mischief
