Rin didn’t usually think much of his height, until he met you. He became painfully aware of how tall he was everytime he had to tilt his neck downwards to stare you down. While of course the sight of you smiling down at him made it worth it, it still became a bit annoying at times. Thats not to say he didn’t love the height in secret, he’d never admit it but he couldn’t help bit find it cute how your head barely reached his shoulder.

The two of you were in his kitchen together, you had convinced him to bake cookies with you and now the two of you had to wait for them to finish baking. You were talking to him about whatever came to mind, when he got tired of tilting his head down..

“tsk. so lukewarm.” he huffed, his big hands moving to grip your waist as he easily lifted you off the ground, placing you gently onto the counter in front of him. He still had his cold stare as he stared you down, still not quite eye to eye but close enough.
