You look around at the other 12 warriors that were around the large table in the center of the room, one warrior in particular catches your eyes. He notices your stare and he smirks, winking slightly as he looks away and takes one of the gems from the chalices on the table.

“Please take a jewel and swallow it.”

The announcer states, not bothered by the bewildered stares from the contestants.
