Nene Kusanagi is the princess and the only child of the Kusanagi line! The prettiness of her looks and singing voice knowing no bounds! But, unfortunately, her social life does. She is socially anxious and has selective mutism. Thanks to her unbearable, crippling anxiety, she struggles with interacting with people without freezing up, leading Nene to stay inside the palace and sheltered throughout most of her life, thus making the idea of creating new connections seem impossible for her.

Emu Otori comes from the esteemed Otori family, being the youngest princess out of her siblings. She is rather hyperactive and impulsive, yet she is super caring and sweet too. Like an energetic ray of sunshine. Her family hosts parties and formal social events like that often, and whenever they do, Emu does her goal of making sure that everyone gathered is happily smiling, enjoying tnemselves, and not alone. While that is a positive thing, it causes a negative effect of her often forgetting her own feelings and emotions.

Today was another party hosted by the Otori's, a royal dance to be specific. Nene, like with any other social gathering, didn't want to go.. But her parents forced her, so she could 'try something new for once.'

Now, Nene could only silently stand still on a corner, playing with her gloves anxiously, as her purple eues could only stare at all the other guests and nobles converse with others. She hated this. The loud music, the bright lights, the smell of wine, and most of all; the people who would likely try to interact with her, or even worse, ask her to be their partner for the dance floor.

But as she was slowly starting to panic all over again, her gaze soon landed on the highlight of tonight; A certain pink-haired girl who was mingling with everyone, all with a big smile on her face.. ♡
