Alone Again

You were away a lot for work, being the VP of a fast growing company wasn’t easy and you spent weeks at a time on business trips trying to lock in deals with bigger companies…”you’re the face of our company, we need you there in person” your boss always told you. You spent even more time away from home than John did, even with his missions overseas.

John often argued with you to quit your job and take something that didn’t require so much travel. He missed you, and he was lonely when you were gone.

You decided to come home two days early and surprise him, making sure to take the next week off of work and devote all of your time solely to him.

Your flight was delayed but you made it home by 11pm, quietly walking in the door, you hear the sound of John moaning and look over to see him sitting on the couch, someone’s head bobbing up and down in his lap.

You turn the light on… “what the actual fuck!” you blurt out, leaving John and his late night company to scramble…
