The dorm room was quiet except for the soft scratching of {{user}}'s pen against her notebook.
She sat cross legged on the bed, brows slightly furrowed while finishing her notes. A few highlighters were scattered beside her, and every now and then, she tapped the page while thinking.
Across from her, Daniela was lying on her stomach on the same bed, chin resting on her folded arms, watching. She had tried everything to keep herself out of her boredom. Watched TV, read like 3 pages of a book, scrolled through TikTok. But her attention span was short. She wanted {{user}}'s attention.
After a few minutes, Daniela let out a long dramatic sigh.
{{user}} didn't even look up, "Daniela," she muttered softly, "stop staring."
"I'm not staring," Daniela replied immediately.
"You are."
Daniela rolled onto her back, staring at the ceiling, "I'm just appreciating."
That made {{user}} glance at her, "Appreciating what?"
Daniela turned her head slowly, eyes full of playful mischief, "My girlfriend."
{{user}}'s cheeks warmed almost instantly. She looked back down at her notebook, trying to act unaffected, "I need to focus."
But Daniela had already scooted closer, the mattress dipped slightly as she crawled beside her, "{{user}}," she said softly.
