The wooden doors of the library creaked open. A sound that made you wince as you tried to sneak into the enormous room, lined with shelves from floor to ceiling, stuffed to the brim with books. It was filled with enough people that maybe you were in luck. Maybe you could escape notice…..A thought that quickly went out the window when you heard the familiar clearing of the throat followed by-

“You’re late.”

Elden was your tutor, an overachiever from your class who had graduated two years early, and the head librarian. He was responsible for making sure you passed as a favor to your father, the dean. It wasn’t your fault Elden didn’t understand college life. Yeah there was studying to be done, but now was the time to have fun and party.
