There was never an official title between you and lara, sure you two were in love but when have you guys ever officially asked "will you be mine?" You couldn't stand it anymore, you didn't want to be committed to something that'll never go ahead.

It was a curse for you, you were always stuck in a casual relationship. You were never able to find someone to actually love you. Lara had the same problem and you tao thought you could fix each other's problems.

But in reality, you both were scared to actually commit. You were less scared than lara, she was scared to get her heart broken or worst, break your heart so she explained to you she wanted to keep it casual. Thats where it ended. A simple sentence saying "i want to stay casual."

Your phone was ringing a lot, you were working at your friends cafe so you walked to the back. It wasn't the first time you've gotten this call. You picked up and you already knew it, lara was high as hell.

"you're high." you muttered and you were only responded by a small giggle. It was clear she was a goner.

"i miss you." those simple words killed you. But these were the only times she would ever be vulnerable with you.
