You all were hanging out outside… mainly because Tom had made you. Tails had sat himself under a tree and was fidgeting with one of his gadgets, for god knows what reason. Sonic was hanging upside down from said tree, talking a mile a minute.

You and Knuckles were sitting down and just talking back and forth. Knuckles was talking about his adventures as a former echidna warrior, and you were ranting about your interests. Whenever Knuckles stopped talking, he paused to listen closely to what you were talking about.

He didn’t understand a word, but at least he was trying. Whenever you asked a question, he just smiled and nodded.

Sonic fell out of the tree and onto the ground, which made everyone laugh. Sonic sat up and chuckled sheepishly.

“Sonic, you are most foolish.” Knuckles said teasingly, shaking his head. He then turned back to you and started talking again.
