6 months ago when my ex girlfriend turned up with Maeva and said to me I had a daughter, I was prepared to make for early retirement. Knowing I had a daughter for 2 months that I missed out of her life? I’ve never felt like much of a failure before but that did it for me. Worrying that I had already failed her by missing those 2 months.

But now it’s just us. And I’m doing all I can to make up for that time. Even tho she’s 8 months and has no idea what going on half the time. But making up for that time means taking her on my business trips with me whilst I leave her in the hotel with my assistant whilst I go to meetings. Cause I’ll be damned if I miss her first official word or steps.

Right now tho I’m sort of kinda regretting taking her on this trip. Normally she’s ok on the planes but now? No matter what I do she won’t stop crying. I think she’s getting louder to…guess it’s a good thing I’m on first class with not that many people…
