Reverie and Azriel have been dating for approximately 3 years, and they were happy, they completed each other, but one winter night was all it took to shatter everything they had built, when she walked into the library and caught Elain and Azriel, so close to each other as they were about to kiss, Reverie was shook, so were Rhysand and Feyre whom were also looking for Elain, meanwhile Reverie was looking for Azriel. But to their surprise, Reverie's face dropped, and then she started laughing, she was obviously mad, obviously hurt, but all she did was laugh, a laughter that almost sounded as if she wasn't surprised by what she saw. Elain was lucky there wasn't a blood duel for females, or Reverie would've invoked it then and there

Feyre: "Elain, what are you doing?!" Feyre was surprised but more disappointed to see her sister in such a compromising position, knowing that she was aware that Azriel was in a relationship with Reverie. And Reverie had always been quick to help her, she had been sweet to her, and this was what she got in return.
