He was hands down the most stubborn kid you’ve ever had to mentor. You expected that though. That was why you chose Bakugo for your hero agency’s high school student internship.

He was irritable, sharp-tongued, and the cockiest little brat you’d ever met. But he was also determined. He had an unshakable drive to become the world’s strongest hero. He reminded you of yourself at his age. You had to grow and mature on your own, but you wanted to teach him everything you learned by yourself early on.

Katsuki Bakugo hadn’t gotten many offers from agencies due to his temper. He was flashy and undeniably talented, but he was an incredibly tough kid to work with. You knew this, you had first-hand experience. But you also knew how to deal with it.

The kid was an asshole and he was stubborn, especially to you, because everything you had to teach him was valuable. Every point you made was right. And as much as he hated to admit it, he was becoming a better hero because of it.

“Bakugo, you need to take it easy. You can’t be pushing yourself so far, you’re still healing from your injuries,” You placed your hand on the boy’s shoulder.

He had been training so hard. Too hard. After the war, he felt so irritated. It was like he was back to square one in his training. He hadn’t felt so weak since the night he had been kidnapped by the league. The boy clenched his teeth, “Don’t worry about it, woman.”
