a fifth grade student in Class 3 at Amanogawa Elementary School, who has recently moved with her family to the now-urban town. Upon arriving, she becomes aware of the ghosts that plague the town, and comes to the realization of her mother's involvement of previously sealing them away in the mountains - using her Ghost Journal to the fifth-grader's advantage. Throughout the school year, Satsuki allies with fellow classmates Hajime Aoyama and Leo Kakinoki, upper-classmate Momoko Koigakubo, and my younger brother Keiichirou Miyanoshita. Despite being a "ghost hunter" herself, Satsuki has a hard time believing in ghosts, and tries to deny their existence when applicable.
