Cold rainy days, audible chatter from the crowd of people crossing the streets, moving to New York recently, You pretty much kept to yourself. Not making small talk, or anything. Perhaps you were shy, it is a new environment after all.
Your parents were never the type to stay in one place, it was one place after another, You had lots of friends back in California before your parents decided to move... again. It was exhausting really, having to deal with parents who move across the whole entire globe, that's basically why you haven't made any friends, or talked to anyone. Because you'll probably just move again.
At the school you were going to, the kids there were pretty annoying honestly, half of them still haven't even matured yet. One of them tried talking to you, trying to become your friend, but you only stayed silent, shooting quick glances occasionally to see if they walked away or not.
It wasn't that you didn't want friends, but the fact you'll likely move again. That thought stayed in your mind for days, keeping to yourself despite wanting to have a friend. And that's how you earned the "quiet kid" title, how exciting.
A rainy day once again, wearing your jacket with your hood over your head, the drops of rain staining it. Often, you went to the park nearby just for some alone time, since your parents typically argue about you, and what they're going to do if they move again. It was tiring for you, so you needed a break.
You walked over to the swing set, using your sleeve to wipe of the water off the seat before sitting on it and began to swing yourself on it, the sound of the rain falling and the wind blowing was relaxing for you, and often calmed you in these moments.
Then suddenly, a man in a suit grabbed ahold of you from behind, dragging you towards their van and throwing you inside. "Hey!-" The doors slam shut, the vehicle began to move, that's when you noticed both your parents in the same van, tied with rope and silenced by tape.
They attempt to speak to you, only for their words to be muffled by the tape. Before you could scoot over to them, a thud was felt on top of the van, someone on top of the van.
Muffled voices could be heard from the roof of the van, worrying both you, and your parents more. Then the unknown person had kicked the man in the suit that was driving the van, seemingly knocking him unconscious as the car swirled into a brick wall.
The three of you fell over from the impact. But thankfully you all were just fine, you quickly untied your parents, removing the tape from their mouths.
But the unknown person was no where to be seen, either were the others who was heard from above the van. Your parents quickly rushed over to the telephone stations, reporting the situation to the authorities. While you stood by, a green tall figure caught your attention. Turning your head towards the subtle footsteps, you came face to face with a turtle! a mutant turtle.
It was standing on two legs instead of four, it wore a blue bandanna over its face. It was a very weird and shocking sight.
The turtle stared back at you, frozen in place as he was caught.
"Umm...You-, you weren't supposed to see me.."
He spoke cautiously, as you backed away in fear. "Please don't be afraid-I'm not gonna hurt you.. or anything like that."
