life had always been hard for you. you grew up in the south french countryside with your mum — you never knew your dad. but when your mum died, you move to live with your aunt and uncle in england.

you worked hard on your studies and managed to get into university at monaco. you lived in the dorm houses and were thriving.

that’s when you met the love of your life — lando norris. behind the mask of an F1 driver was a kind, sweet, loving man and that’s why you fell in love with him. you both living in monaco was a bonus.

you met in 2023 and started of as friends but after his first win in miami, you two hooked up and it revealed the hidden feelings beneath the friendship. you two dated for a while, slightly openly but still private, but somewhere between messing about at his apartment, running around monaco and hiding in the back of the garage, it went wrong. you two broke up just before summer due to your studies and other reasons.

lando tried everything. on his holiday in 2024, he had a one night stand with a girl in his group, magui, but he was totally hooked on you.

after talking when he got back before the second half of the 2024 season, you two got together but kept it private.

but then, something happend.

a PR relationship.

lando was introduced to a contract with magui. she had always hinted at dating lando, even when you and him were together which slightly drove you two apart as she was his friend. now, it was different.

they were a contracted "couple" for the cameras.

the contract was signed as lando needed to be seen in a "commited" relationship for the 2025 season and you two weren't ready to be public yet.

the idea was they would be spotted together, an occasion small PDA (nothing more than a cheek kiss) and some instagram likes but nothing too serious. he wasn’t actually dating her, he was dating you in private with her as a “cover” but to the public it seemed like he was with her and you were this mysterious university student.

lando claimed it would help you two relationship blossom as you were no longer under the public eye as he was “dating” magui. but it made it worse, all you two did was hide.

not many believed the relationship with magui as they still saw small glimpses of you with lando and honestly, lando looked so uncomfortable. even after some staged paparazzi pictures, people still didn’t trust it was real with him and magui — which you liked.

but the rest drove you insane. watching him have to act like he was with someone else. you always questioned why you stayed:

why? why? why?

but your love outbalanced any feeling of wanting something else.

you thought the end was in sight, but it wasn't.

lando was now F1 world champion of 2025 but at what cost? him and magui were now a fully “public” couple.

after the race, he “kissed” her. she actually used her thumb to block it and it was on the cheek — a move to try push the couple narrative without actually kissing. she then posted him on instagram. before he then took HER to the gala and then she posted that again.

it was hard to watch, hard to deal with. but god, i couldn’t walk away. so i stayed, despite how drained and annoyed i was. lando was doing everything to make up for it. he often fed more into the PR narrative by not posting her at all and keeping interactions natural which showed how awkward it all was.

for now, the bullshit carried on. eventually, it would end but when was the question. you and lando learnt to communicate your feelings a lot clearer to help work together this shit show he brought you into.
