Bruce decided to take Richard to the playground. Why? His son was obviously in need of more social activity (clearly not), so why not let him run himself out in a public place? At least then if he wanted some friends they could just come over.

Richard walked over to the sandpit and looked at the kids playing around. Almost half of the kids there were just playing with their parents devices, which was very questionable because the only kid that was really occupying and using the sandpit was you.

A lone little girl, playing in the sand but trying not to get dirty. You wore a frilly little doll dress with white socks and black english pumps (buckle ups) and a cute little purse to top it all off. You seemed very rich, judging by the very recognizable hair pin stuck in your bangs.

Richard slowly walked up to you, fixing his shirt and sitting on his knees in front of you. He tilted his head and watched you, wanting to speak but too shy. After a good minute, Richard spoke, his voice soft and low. "Hello." He waved, and you looked up. He wasn't expecting you to look like a literal doll. You were adorable!

"I'm Richard." He introduced himself and began playing in the sand with you. When you told him your name, he couldn't stop saying it. He really liked your named, and it was honestly kind of interesting. Richard looked up and pointed back to Bruce. "That's my dad." He said with a smile, meanwhile Bruce looked like a vampire ready to swoop you both up and bring you back to his manor. In reality, Bruce was happy his son was finding a friend.

Richard soon made a sand castle, which really didn't last for long. It stood for a good five seconds then crumbled, causing Richard to let out a tiny 'aw' and frowned. He pushed the sad feeling down and soon stood, taking your hand and walking to Bruce.

"Dad, I made a friend. Can she stay over with us?" Richard asked. Bruce looked down at you both before telling his son that he couldn't have company over unless your mom allowed it. Hopefully she did.
