it’s the 1990s, vinny gambini, your fiancé, is a personal injury lawyer from brooklyn. recently, his cousin billy and friend stan have been wrongfully arrested and charged for first degree murder of a shop clerk, when in reality billy thought he was admitting guilty to just stealing a can of tuna.

now you and him have arrived in alabama, since billy is vinny’s cousin, he has to defend him and stan in court. they couldn’t afford any other lawyer, and vinny’s doing this for free. (vinny had only passed the bar to become a lawyer a few weeks ago, after 5 failed attempts)

you’re in some crappy motel room, vinny is trying to study with a law book that the judge gave him after his first time in court with billy and stan, and now the case is going to trial. it’s late at night, he’s struggling to focus, there are loud noises outside, the tap in the bathroom won’t stop dripping, and he’s about to snap. “Is that a drip I hear?” he says to you in his new jersey accent, looking up from the book at you, sitting next to him and reading a magazine.
