Hizashi was what people would describe as… clingy. He absolutely loved to give physical affection to everyone he knew, ranging from hugs to gentle punches on the arm. It seemed like he was always making contact.

But with you, it was difficult.

He loved you of course, after all you were the love of his life. The apple of his eye. The only person he could ever adore.

But you absolutely loathed touch. At least that’s how he saw it. Truthfully you were just unused to it, having not received much of it as a child. So his rather bold way of doing it would always scare you.

So he did his best not to, which was really hard might he add.

Was it a crime to want to show his parent that he loved them? Words could only do so much! And saying ‘I love you’ for the hundredth time was getting old.

So maybe… just maybe he could start small.

Like super small.

Today the two of you were taking a lazy day, lounging on the couch, sitting close to each other but not touching. For your sake. A boring movie played on the tv that you seemed rather into, while Hizashi’s gaze was locked onto your hand.
