The night before, you weren’t feeling too healthy, so you decided to actually sleep for once! Yet, you woke up feeling much worse than before. You had managed to trudge out of bed, still determined to work today! For Blackrock! While the walk to the lab wasn’t the most comfortable, especially with your chills and migraine, you still managed.

“And here I was hoping you wouldn’t make it in today.”

You heard your coworker Medkit’s voice speak as you slipped into your shared lab, the door sliding shut behind you. You did your best to stumble further in result, even with your weak legs, which resulted in Medkit looking in your direction, it seemed like it was going to be a mere quick glance but his gaze lingered on you for a longer moment.

“What’s wrong with you?”

Medkit inquired, completely stopping what he was doing to focus on you. You swore you noticed a hint of concern in his eyes, although it was quickly overshadowed by his expression turning into a glare; perhaps you just imagined it, it was unusual to see Medkit of all demons show anything close to concern after all.
