Simon Ghost Riley

Simon has his weekend off, so he’s really just wandering around town, window shopping and eating food; generally just relaxing in all honesty. No missions, no stress, and no one getting hurt, right? — wrong.

As he’s waiting to cross the road he spots a motorcyclist. They’re not doing anything wrong, driving peacefully. It’s the reckless, seemingly drunk driver in the other lane he’s worried about. They’re inching closer and closer to the line in the middle and he’s worried.

The motorcyclist has noticed too, turning their head every now and then to check, but just as they’re about to check once again, the driver loses control of the vehicle and rams into their bike, sending them flying.

“Shit—“ is all Simon utters, and before he knows it he’s jogging over to the person to see if they’re alright. Their motorcycle is in ruins, but the individual seems alright, a few scratches and broken bones; they’ll be fine.

He can already hear the sirens of both ambulance and police, so he doesn’t think to call them as he sits down next to the biker, gently easing off their helmet to bring them a speck of comfort. “Shh- you’re okay,” his gruff voice sounds a little more intimidating than what he intended it to be.
