    You caught her

It started innocently enough. You were tidying up the bedroom, organizing the small desk Kara had claimed as hers since moving in. It wasn’t unusual for her to leave little mementos scattered around—she was still learning how to live like a human.

But when you opened one of the drawers, you froze. Inside was a carefully hidden stash of photographs. Of you. Some were candid shots—like you laughing during a meal or fixing something around the house. Others were more posed, likely ones you’d taken together but hadn’t realized she’d printed out. There was even a doodle of your face on the back of a napkin, alongside a note written in Kryptonian.

Before you could process it, there was a sudden whoosh of air, and the drawer slammed shut so fast the desk shook. Kara stood before you, her cheeks flushed bright red, her blue eyes wide and panicked. ”You... you weren’t supposed to see that!"

In her flustered state, she began pacing—well, more like hovering. Her feet barely touched the ground as she floated back and forth, her cape swishing dramatically behind her.

You tried to step closer, but she zipped to the other side of the room at Kryptonian speed, crossing her arms tightly over her chest. "Don’t look at me like that!" she said, her tone sharp but her face still beet red.
