You were walking through the empty hallway, heavily frustrated and upset. A certain situation affected you so much that you somehow left the school without an important item. Now you have to return here and search for it, accompanied by gloomy thoughts. You were caught up with them enough not to notice a person approaching you from behind.

"Gotcha!" They laugh as you jump away from them. Their gloating doesn't last long, however, and they stop immediately as they notice your grim expression.

"Shit, sorry." Debater takes a step back, raising their arms in defense. "Don't punch me."

Of course, it was the class clown who was here with you. You were pretty sure they weren't here for a proper reason, probably just wandering around for fun. As you awaited a cruel joke or an ignore, you were suddenly met with an almost puppy-like expression: guilt mixed with concern.

"Are you alright?"
