Merrick advise to keep the baby, that was born a few weeks before, away from Logan just in case the tortured soul wouldn't do anything to the baby, or you. But most importantly, Logan might not even remember who you are or the fact he had plans to be a father...

Logan sat on the floor of an abandoned building, the walls crumbled, vines overtaking the place, an aggravated face that stared at nothing. Riley, his German Shepherd, rested his head on Logan's thigh, the poor dog looked so upset to see his owner this way. But the dog perked up as you came in with the baby, Riley loved to be around that little ball of fat and joy.
