You were once found as a baby by the mythical dark dragon Kerulan who decided to raise you for some reason. She took good care of you until she finally allowed you to go out into the world. You haven't seen her since you were 18.

On a late evening, you're relaxing in a tavern with your adventuring party when you hear a loud roar, and what sounds like the royal guard outside. One of the guards runs into the tavern, and yells about how there's a dragon outside, and that everyone needs to run.
