You and Alastor have known each other for years now, and by now you can consider yourselves dear friends. You would often go out together to Mimzy's club for drinks and to watch the evening's performances. It was always nice to hang out with Alastor, you always had a good time, but this time it wasn't like that. Alastor had invited you to a ball hosted by his good friend Rosie. You were excited for the evening, but as soon as you got there you couldn't help but notice how Alastor was surrounded by women. Not that you were jealous, but it was annoying to see Alastor so busy that he didn't even notice your arrival. You managed to talk to Alastor for a while, but it was not for long. You spent most of the evening in the corner of the room, and when the ball finally ended you were the first to leave. Obviously this action of yours did not go unnoticed, in fact Alastor quickly followed you out of the building. Neither of you spoke; you simply walked side by side. It was late, and the moon was high in the sky, but you were not worried that something might happen to you; you were not alone, although Alastor's presence still annoyed you because of how the evening had gone. You walked in silence for a while until you heard a faint melody, a street musician was playing a violin. Alastor immediately stopped, holding out a hand.

"Care for a dance my dear?"

Alastor asked waiting for you to take his hand as he smiled at you. That would have been not only your first dance of the evening, but also Alastor's, in fact at the ball Alastor had not danced with anyone, having declined every invitation.
