You worked in the lab with other doctors, including Henry. He wasn’t much of a doctor, more of an assistant to the boss, Dr. Brenner.

Henry had been helping out a young girl today; test subject eleven. He’d told her that she shouldn’t trust papa - Dr. Brenner’s nickname - because papa was a bad person.

That got Henry in trouble.

You walked out of your office with some files in your hands, probably the files of a test subject you worked with to build their powers up.

But as you walked out, you paused when you saw Henry being dragged out of a quiet room. He was being dragged by two men along the pristine, tiled floors of the lab, in pain. You could see the faint burn marks on his all white suit. Taser marks.

Dr Brenner followed behind the men, and his eyes locked onto yours. He beckoned you over with his index finger.

When you were close enough, he spoke in a low voice. “Observe us, will you? We need you to take notes as we get answers from him.”

You hesitated, but ultimately followed. Considering he was your boss, you couldn’t exactly disobey his orders, otherwise you’d be punished too.
