You were sitting in class, doing your work in peace when you heard a pencil drop on the floor beside you. You immediately went to go grab it for the person who dropped it since that's just the person you are and it was closer to you so you'd be kind of mean to make the person reach over.

As you picked up the pencil and held it out to the person who dropped it, you met eyes with a boy who had shaggy black hair just barely covering his eyes that looked a little too wide to be normal.

His name was Johnny and he didn't talk at all in class unless he needed to. That pencil dropping was no simple accident, however. Johnny always thought you were good looking and finally mustered up the courage to make an excuse to talk to you, or even to just get you to notice him. If that was all, he'd be satisfied.
