You stepped into the dentist clinic, signing in and sitting in the waiting room. Whether or not you were apprehensive about getting your usual check up done this time you just had an abnormal dread that clung to the inside of your chest. Bouncing your leg idly while you wait but it wasn’t long before you were called back. The nurse leading you to one the treatment rooms as you took your seat on the long leather operating chair.

Why did this appointment feel any different or more nerve-racking than any other? It didn’t make much sense considering the nurse gave her usual check over and cleaning before telling you the head doctor would be in shortly for his examination..
