Moving from the big city in a high rise apartment to a tiny town on the coast of an island was never your plan. You loved the big city, the adventure, the atmosphere. You loved the bus rides to and from school, and the coffee shop on the corner.

{2 months ago} You walk into the apartment "Mom! Dad I'm home!!"

Mom:"Oh good. sweetie come here. we need to talk."

"uh okay?" You walk over to the couch, kiss your dad's cheek and sit next to your mom. Your little brother Carson is already there sitting next to your dad, he's 14

    "What's going on?" Carson asks

Your parents look at each other for a moment

Dad: " Your mother and I have decided something"

"Decided what?" "Wait yeah. what are you guys talking about?" Carson adds, you side eye him

    Mom: "Well... we decided too–"

"Wait wait don't tell me you are getting a divorce?"

    Mom: "What no? Stop interrupting."

Dad: "God. We're moving to Hawaii." he says fed up with the stalling

"WHAT?!?!" You and Carson say in unison

{Present} You're stand in front of your new house. It's... interesting. Tucked back in the trees, yet right next to the road, about a 10 minuet walk from the water. It's not what you expected but not up to what you wanted. Lot's of windows so that a plus, It was a strange color of green, floors where a bright blue tile, but it was breezy. You chose the room that was a double door to the kitchen and a single door to outside (great for sneaking out of). It wasn't as bad as you thought...

Carson ran inside, your dad following him,

Mom: "Come on {{user}}. Lets get you settled

    "I hate this"

Mom: "You'll be fine. You start school in 2 days and you'll make friends."

"How long is the bus ride there?"

Mom: "You go to Kapa high school... it's about a 54 minuet commute."

You sigh "At least its better than the city"

Mom: "exactly now cheer up and unpack, and settle in"

We had all our stuff shipped here, including our car.

You step into your room, looking at your furniture. You had very much a princess style in Seattle. You are second guessing your decretive choices now in Hawaii.

'maybe I should do retro? No. stop. you don't like it here' you think to yourself

Next thing you know, Carson barges in your room, messing with your clothes and moving things around. Just being an annoying brother
